Espoo has been a Fairtrade Town since march 2009. We have an active local steering group, supportive public officials and a bunch of local friends.

Espoo Anniversary

Espoo will celebrate its first anniversary as a Fairtrade Town on March 27, 2010. On Friday 26 there will be Fairtrade bananas (about 5000 kg ) as a dessert after the lunch at all public schools and daycare centers in Espoo. Looking forward to show you some pictures of "Espoo going Bananas" later this spring.

Espoon kouluissa elämä menee ihan banaaniksi perjantaina 26.3. kun Reilun kaupan kaupunki Espoo täyttää vuoden. Kouluissa ja päiväkodeissa tarjoillaan lounaalla noin 5000 kg reilun kaupan banaaneita jälkiruuaksi. Kuviakin tapahtumasta lienee tulossa myöhemmin.
