I'm involved in the Fairtrade Hadrian's Wall campaign which aims to make Hadrian's Wall the first World Heritage Site in the world to get Fairtrade zone status. The Hadrian's Wall corridor is 20 miles wide and stretches from coast to coast accross the North of England. It runs through farmland, spectacular scenery and vibrant cities. Our website is www.fairtradehadrianswall.co.uk where we have a map for people to support the campaign and another to show businesses along the corridor that support Fairtrade.

Hi,

I know that Norwich has city status and I have been trying to get involved with that for well over a year but to no avail (no reply to emails etc!). I understand from their website there have been some problems with lack of support. So, at present, its not going too well! I’m in the process (v. early days) of setting up a directory for the area and will then try to go from there. Finding this site to be very useful and full of tips already! Its just a matter of getting things organised and knowing where to begin!

Hi Lauren,

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I was wondering if you would share how you got involved with the Hadrian's Wall project?

Look forward to chatting with you.

Regards, Kate
